Never Ending Card Flip Through

Hey there!

There are times when you come across a craft on Youtube or Pinterest or on a blog that you frequent and you immediately stop what you are doing so that you can create whatever you just saw. That's what happened when I saw Paper Sweetpea's Endless flip book tutorial on YouTube. I stopped what I was doing (sitting in my pjs, watching TV), I ran to my craft area, broke out some paper and went to town.

Let me begin with a shout out to Paper Sweetpea. If you want great tutorials, she’s your girl! I watched her make pocket letters…twice! Once in regular speed and once in slow speed so I could make one with her! She explains things so well.

This post isn't a tutorial. I wasn't sure when I made this, how it would turn out. Once I was finished with it, I was just so proud of my creation I wanted to share.

I started with two pieces of double sided 8”X 8” paper. I say double sided because with all the scoring and folding we are going to be doing, you do not want to use heavy paper with glue in the middle. I cut down 2 sheets of 12" X 12" leftover papers from the BoBunny Butterfly Kisses collection (Bliss & Peaceful). The nice thing about this collection is that the B side is just as beautiful as the A side.

I also used fussy cut pieces from my Prima Bella Rouge note cards set. The antique looking paper gives the perfect vintage look so I decided I wanted to use it for this impromptu project. There are other fussy cut shapes from die cut sets that I picked up here and there too.

For me, this isn't a photo album or anything. It's just a pretty card. The next one that I make will have areas for photos and I'll show you all of the steps.

For now, take a peek at the quick video I created to show you my flip through.
