I hope you and your family are having a wonderful day. Even though I spent the last 8 days showing you thoughtful things you can make for gifts, the holiday season isn't about gifts at all. It's about family and friends and spending time with them.

Please know that you never have to be alone on the holidays if you don't want to be. Some stores, movie theatres and restaurants are open. If you need to get out of the house, please do and share the day with someone.

If you'd prefer a smaller, more intimate thing, invite some folks over to your place. It doesn't have to be fancy and it doesn't have to be a lot of people. If you would like company, more than likely someone else would like to be your company.

If you are spending the day with your loved ones, give them all great big hugs and kisses, take lots of pictures and smile a lot.
