Happy Blogiversary!!

Hey there!
Well, well, well. It's been a full year of crafting fun folks! Can you believe it?! I hardly can. For a full year I've been crafting and creating and telling you all about it.
I've learned some things along the way. I've learned to do one thing at a time -- there is no reason to have 5 ideas in one blog post. I've learned that there are so many shades of white, your head will spin. I've learned that while you can never have too many supplies, you really can have too many supplies.

I've purchased some things. MAN have I purchased some things. Let's not talk about all of the paper pads, stickers, embellishments, ribbons, and paint that I've acquired. I picked up a new table and legs so I can make it a standing table. I picked up backdrops and things for staging. I walk into the crafting and dollar stores so much that the folks know me. It's crazy (and slightly embarrassing).

I've invested in myself. Not just things (but yes things), but training. I've attended workshops out of the wazoo. Most of those workshops were in town but some were out of town too. I've made sure I keep up with what's new in the industry. While I can't learn everything, I try to stay on top of what I can.

Above all I've learned that it is waaaaaay more fun than I ever thought it would be. I've met new people, both in person and online, and become BFFs with them. The paper crafting community is a big one and most people like to make friends with you. They help you and send you advice. They offer any services that they can when you need it. That's the type of community I like to be a part of.

I hope you've learned with me. This first year has been a learning curve for me but I hope that I taught something to those of you that were interested. I have plans for year 2 of this blog. I am going to narrow some of my focus and work on projects that have been the most meaningful for me. I hope that they are meaningful for you too.
Please feel free to let me know what you've learned and what you want to learn in the future. Tell me your plans for paper crafting and what things would help you. Remember, this is YOUR blog too! We are in this together.
