8 Days Of Christmas 2017 - Day 8 - Merry Christmas

Hey there!

We have done it folks. We have sorted out 8 great ideas for Christmas gifts. Now you can go and be merry.

Wait! We only had 7 days of Christmas. So a day is missing. What was the 8th day of Christmas gift?

You.

You are the gift. You are a gift to your friends and family. You don’t have to give a fancy gift to those that love you. All they want is your hugs and laughter and time. That’s all that they need.

And, as I’ve said every in Christmas message, if you find yourself alone this year and don’t necessarily want to be alone, there are places you can go. There are convenience stores that are open. They have limited hours but they are open. You don’t have to buy anything. Just go in and say Merry Christmas. There are restaurants that are open (Waffles House, Dennys, IHOP, etc). The movie theatre is open and there are several movies out this year that I want to see.

There are local parks that are open. If it’s nice enough outside you can take a walk and enjoy nature. Spend a spa day on yourself -- bubble bath, nice cup of something warm, snuggle with a warm blanket in bed or on the sofa. Order in or make something special to eat.

If you want to be alone and enjoy the quiet please do so. If you need to get out and be with someone, please do that as well.

If you are going to be with friends and family, give them big hugs and kisses, take lots of pictures and smile a lot.
