More Easy Easter Cards

Hey there!

I know that I created easy Easter cards early in the month, but after all of my crafts, I still had cut aparts left over. I decided that I wanted to make even more Easter cards with the remainder. I knew that it would be quick and easy and I could spread cheer to even more friends.

I decided to use my 4” X 5 ½” notecards from Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. This is the size notecard that I normally use for my sentiment cards. I used the larger notecard the first time so I wanted to mix it up this time.

I know that it’s almost time to put away my Easter paper so I wanted to use up as many scraps as I could. I cut strips of paper and adhered them to my card base at an angle.

I wanted to jazz up the background a bit. I decided to take my Easter sentiment stamp and stamp a border in pink StazOn ink.

Once that was done, I just double matted one of the cut aparts and put that on the card. Sweet!

I have a lot of stickers for Easter and Spring. I decided to just pop some Easter eggs on a pink piece of paper and add a sentiment. It might be a simple card but it’s not any less adorable.

I had strips of paper left over from the horizontal Easter card background. I took a larger piece, used an edge punch for a decorative edge and then layered the other paper around it. I then added half of a heart doily (using everything up)!

I pulled my Happy Easter stamp and created a sentiment. I matted it before putting it on the card base matte because, well, double and triple matting stuff is what I do.

The crowning glory was a felt chick sticker to the left of the sentiment. Who wouldn’t love this?!

My final card was the easiest of them all. I took a 4” X 6” cut apart, sliced it down to fit on my card base and….wait for it…. I stuck it on! Oh, I added a double bow for a bit of flash. That’s it. Donzo!

With a spare 20 minutes, I created 4 new cards to mail to friends and family. They will enjoy the cards and hopefully be inspired to make their own cards!
